 The
Veterinary Cardiovascular Society (VCS) is an organisation which exists to promote
the study and development of veterinary cardiology in all species.
 | Membership
of the Association is open to members of the veterinary and medical professions
including veterinary students and veterinary nurses and to other suitable qualified
workers who are interested in the above aims. Applications for membership
of the Association must be submitted on the official application form obtainable
from the Membership Secretary or the Membership
page. Such applications must be proposed and seconded by existing members of the
Association and the completed application form returned to the Membership Secretary. | | Pay

| The
Veterinary Cardiovascular Society holds two meetings per
year. One is held in April, the day before the main BSAVA Congress in Birmingham,
the other is a two-day meeting usually held in the Midlands in the autumn. As
well as contributions from the members, we invite international speakers and colleagues
from human cardiology to contribute to our meetings |  |
As part
of your membership you will receive a newsletter containing news and abstracts
from most of the talks given during the year at our meetings. The VCS also provides
a prize to the candidate who achieves the best casebook and examination mark in
the RCVS cardiology certificate every year Membership runs from the 1st
of April until the 31st of March, and costs £25.00 (or £20.00 if paid by
standing order). All members are entitled to reduced registration rates at VCS
meetings. If
